Postpartum/Mommy and Baby Yoga This class, for mothers and babies ages 6 weeks old to crawling, focuses on strengthening and toning the body after birth, and allows you to practice yoga while bonding with your baby. Regain strength of abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, and tone arms and legs while reenergizing mind and body. Breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques will be integrated into this yoga practice. You will also learn gentle stretches, exercises, and songs to encourage your baby's growth, flexibility, independence and confidence in body awareness. Classes are fun and relaxed, and designed to accommodate the needs of both mom and baby. This class is a great outlet for meeting other new moms! 8 week sessions continuously held.
